Locally owned and family operated — Home of the Perfect Christmas Tree since 1975.

It started with an elf

Mike Gutzman began his Christmas tree career as a high-school “elf.” He went on to open Kringle’s Korner on 4th Street in Santa Rosa in 1975.

Today, Mike’s daughter Morgan Gutzman owns and runs Kringle’s Korner, carrying on the family tradition.

From the very beginning, we’ve employed local high school kids — for many of them, it’s their first job. Over the years that’s added up to generations of Kringle’s elves.

Remembering Mike Gutzman

Mike Gutzman, who founded Kringle’s Korner, passed away in December 2025.

Mike started out as a high-school elf and opened Kringle’s Korner on 4th Street in Santa Rosa in 1975. Over the years, Kringle’s has given generations of local high school kids their first jobs.

His daughter, Morgan, has worked at Kringle’s her whole life. She will continue the tradition of Kringle’s Korner.

Where our trees come from

Small family farms

Our farm-grown trees come from 13 small family farms in Oregon and Washington. Our Silver Tips are wild-grown at high altitude in California’s Sierras.
