This policy explains how Kringle’s Korner Christmas Trees (“we,” “us”) handles personal information collected through this website, including our contact, reservation and commercial inquiry forms. It is written to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and to explain the rights California residents have under state law.

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us when you fill out a form, call, text or email us. Depending on the form, this may include:

• Contact details: your name, email address and phone number
• Business details (commercial inquiries): business name and type
• Order details: whether you want pickup or delivery, the tree variety and size range, wreaths, garland, flocking or flame proofing you’re interested in, delivery address, preferred dates and any notes you add

Like most websites, our web host may automatically record basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, in server logs used to keep the site running and secure. Our site is hosted by Gandi (Gandi Web Hosting).

We do not take payments online. Payments are made in person at the lot.

How we use your information

• To reply to your inquiry or reservation request
• To arrange your tree, wreath or garland order, delivery or setup
• To prepare quotes and service for commercial accounts
• To keep our website working and secure

We do not use your information for advertising, and we will not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website, process our online forms and handle email, including our website host (Gandi), our form service (Formspree, which receives what you type into our forms and passes it to us by email) and our email provider (Google Gmail), who may use it only on our behalf, or when required by law.

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes (California “Shine the Light” law, Civil Code § 1798.83).

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not allow other companies to track you across websites through our site. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy first.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers to download them. The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps; when it loads, Google may collect information or set cookies under Google’s privacy policy.

“Do Not Track” signals

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because our site does not track visitors over time or across other websites, we do not change how the site works in response to DNT signals. If we ever add tracking tools, we will update this section to explain how we respond.

How long we keep information

We keep order and inquiry emails only as long as needed to fill your order and for our normal business records.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, you can ask us to:

• Access: tell you what personal information we have about you and give you a copy
• Correct: fix information that is wrong or out of date
• Delete: delete the personal information we collected from you, unless we must keep it by law

To make a request, call (707) 579-8474 or email kringleskornertrees@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We may ask for details, such as the name and phone number or email you used, to confirm it’s you. We aim to respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for using your privacy rights. You may also use an authorized agent to make a request for you.

Children

Our website is meant for adults planning holiday purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive information such as payment card numbers through our forms or by email.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
